Helpful Links to Find Vetted Professionals
Finding an advisor you trust is the most important step in your financial journey. If our firm isn’t the right match for your specific situation or location, I still want to make sure you receive high-quality, objective advice.
You can find professionals who are held to higher standards of education and ethics in these reputable databases.
- LetsMakeAPlan.org: Run by the CFP® Board, this allows you to verify if an advisor truly holds the Certified Financial Planner™ designation, the standard of excellence in financial planning.
- NAPFA.org: The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. This is the “gold standard” for finding Fee-Only, Fiduciary advisors who do not accept commissions for selling products.
- FeeOnlyNetwork.com: A transparent database dedicated to verifying that an advisor is strictly Fee-Only and acts as a fiduciary 100% of the time.
- PlannerSearch.org (FPA): The database for the Financial Planning Association, connecting you with professionals dedicated to the financial planning process.
Pro Tip: When interviewing advisors from these sites, always ask: “Are you a fiduciary 100% of the time, and how exactly do you get paid?”
