Three steps, from first call to a plan that runs year-round.

1

The Align Call 15 minutes, free.

A short conversation where we get to know each other. You tell us what prompted you to look for guidance and what feeling in control of your money would mean for you. We tell you whether Align is the right advice team for you and what the next step would be. There is nothing to prepare.

One thing to know before you book: Align works best for women whose finances have outgrown simple answers. Equity compensation, multiple account types, a business, an inheritance, a retirement transition. We also tell you how we charge on that call, so the fee is never a surprise later.

2

Discovery, then your plan Two meetings, then the Wealth Blueprint™.

If we both feel the fit, we go deeper. In the Discovery Meeting we work through your full financial picture and what matters most to you. Then, in the Outcomes Discussion, we present your Advice Map (what we heard) and your Advice Path (what we would work on first, and when), along with our Terms of Engagement and your fee in writing. You take the time you need to decide.

When you onboard, we build your initial plan, the Wealth Blueprint™. We organize your entire financial picture, pressure-test it across cash flow, investments, equity compensation, protection, taxes, and estate, and turn it into a written plan with a prioritized action list. Implementation starts while the plan is still being built, because some moves can only happen when the calendar allows. Ninety days after delivery, we meet to review what has been done and what comes next.

3

The annual rhythm Two strategy meetings a year.

From there, the plan runs on a calendar. A fall meeting focused on year-end tax planning, and a spring meeting covering everything that has changed in your plan and your life. Life events in between, a job change, an inheritance, a sale, get handled when they happen. Every spring and fall, the action list is re-checked against the calendar and your latest statements. Answers To Questions You Might Have

Think of this call as a chance to see whether we’re a good fit for each other. We’ll ask about your needs and what you value, and you’ll have time to ask questions and learn how we work.

No. Align is based in Hoboken, NJ, but most meetings are held via Zoom.

It depends on the engagement. Ongoing wealth management, where we manage the investments and run the plan year-round, is priced on the assets we manage and advise on. Ongoing financial planning on its own is a flat annual fee set by the complexity of your situation. Either way, we are fee-only advisors, paid only by our clients. We receive no commissions, we do not sell products, and we are a fiduciary 100% of the time. You receive your exact fee in writing at the Outcomes Discussion, before you sign anything, and our full fee schedule is in our Form ADV Part 2A.

We qualify fit by complexity as much as by account size. Nearly all of our clients are managing something with real moving parts: equity compensation, multiple accounts, a business, an inheritance, or a retirement transition. If your situation is simpler, we will say so on the Align Call.

A financial plan is analysis: a snapshot of where you stand and what you should do. Wealth management is analysis plus execution: implementing the investment strategy, coordinating taxes year over year, and adjusting the plan as your life changes. The second is what changes outcomes.

After the Outcomes Discussion, your Advice Map and Advice Path. After you onboard, your Wealth Blueprint™ with its action list, then a 90-day review. From then on, an updated action list at every spring and fall meeting. To see what the Wealth Blueprint™ looks like in full, read the sample financial plan.
